Motion Graphics in Mauern, Bavaria, Germany

Motion should add emphasis, not make every element compete for attention. A project for Mauern, Bavaria, Germany does not need artificial local claims. A clearer approach is to focus on the real communication problem and how the work will be used.

A focused way to begin

Timing is a design decision just like type, color and layout.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

Start with the problem, not the style

Separating must-have requirements from optional ideas keeps the project focused.

How the project can move forward

Clear approval points keep the project from staying open-ended.

A system that survives the next project

Documenting recurring decisions reduces visual drift when more people work on the brand.

What changes on screen

Different aspect ratios often need a recomposed layout rather than a cropped version.

Working across locations

Screen sharing can resolve design direction quickly without long meetings.

A website often becomes the place where identity, content and conversion meet, so web design works best when it is considered alongside the wider brand system.
