Editorial Design in Coniston 2500, New South Wales, Australia

Editorial design needs to support changing content densities without breaking the system. The same design principles apply in Coniston 2500, New South Wales, Australia: reduce uncertainty in the brief, establish priorities and build only what the project actually needs.

A focused way to begin

Editorial design needs to support changing content densities without breaking the system.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

A compact brief is enough

Separating must-have requirements from optional ideas keeps the project focused.

Designing for real screens

File size and image optimization are part of digital design quality.

Keeping the workflow practical

Consolidated feedback makes revision easier to understand and prevents conflicting changes.

A system that survives the next project

Consistency is a shared character, not identical layouts.

Choosing a working model

A portfolio shows visual capability, but communication and process determine how the project feels day to day.

When motion becomes part of the brand, motion graphics and editing can extend the same typography and graphic language into video.
